Default A/C servicing. Loaner Gauges?

Hi all,
I am going to dive in and try to service the A/C system myself.
Auto Zone has a loaner 1.8 CFM pump.
Was going to get the HF gauges, but not sure if it is throwing money away.

Does anyone have a set of gauges for 134 to loan out?

Thanks

HF gauges work pretty well and are durable, hard to beat for the price as long as you don't abuse them (drop or twist).

You could also try ToolTopia.com, lots of choice there.

Where are you located in Southern Md? I am up in Towson but will be down in Newburg on Saturday June 25th performing at Gilligans Pier. Also what year is your 928?

I had the HF manifold set for five or six years and used them on my cars with no problems.
A good deal when you use the 20% off coupon or in one of their many sales.

Sorry I haven't replied. I didn't get updates for this thread.

Car is an 87 S4 Auto.

I love HF, I may go that route in the future. I expect that I once I understand the A/C system a bit, that I will service the other cars in the fleet too.

Crushingday...PM sent.

How much longer do you need it? Have an 87 coming in for service shortly.

I just got back from travel. I will service it a little tomorrow to try and find the leak and send it out by Monday.

Thanks again.

Don't return them until you are done with them. I can hold off for a couple of weeks.

Turns out the customer does not need AC service so please feel free to use them.
