Default 928 International AL radiator

I helped with the installation of the 'new' 928 International aluminum radiator in a '91 GT about a week ago. WHAT A SMOOTH installation. The radiator fit perfectly, and is such a beautiful construction that I'm sure the owner will always raise his hood every time he turns the ignition off (well, I've known him for about 15 years, and he has always done this to allow engine heat to dissipate, so it won't be any change. But now, 928 folks will ooh and ahh about the appearance of his radiator!).

Great product Mark.

Relating to follow up posts below - Yes, it is the CSF radiator.

The new radiators from CSF are nice: Fit, works, no hassle.

The previous generation of aftermarket radiators was nicer with better-looking construction and welding. That one is, or was, pricier. Ya get what ya pays for!

Thanks for the info Gary. Is this the CSF radiator that Mark helped get made through them?

The older ALs looked beautiful too and fit like a dream, then a year later the $1200CDN radiator started to leak. Patched it up with some JB weld and has been holding up for a few years now with no other issues. The new ones are supposed to be of better quality and judging from the lack of posts, they seem to be holding up pretty good.

Ed,

Yes, that came to fill up the empty space in the hobby garage when the GTS left for Oregon. Went retro, as I drove this model Bimmer in the mid '70's through early 80's. Fun drive (going from the GTS to this was like going from a Dell laptop to an abacus with paper and pencil!!)

Do these CSF radiators need to be connected to a ground to prevent oxidation. I have not done that yet. Rad works like a dream. Been running in some hot weather...
