Default Bosch Battery

I have a Bosch battery in one of my 928's. The battery will not take a charge. I had it on the battery maintainer but somehow it died on me. I looked at the stickers and it looks to be still under warranty. I do not have any paperwork. Can anybody help me on how to get a warranty replacement?
Thanks

Battery warranties do not follow the battery. They begin and end with the original purchaser.

That said, Bilal, I wish you all the luck.

Take it to any retailer that sells Bosch batteries. A quick Google search shows that Pep Boys carries them.

Also, if you used a credit card, or used any time of store "rewards" card when you bought it, you might be able to find it in the store's purchase database.

It appears that anything Bosch is crap, in my experience at least.

How old is the maintainer? They don't last forever.

I have a fairly new Bosch battery in my S4 and it has held up well so far. I also bought Bosch ignition modules some time ago for the s4 and they have been outstanding. just my own experience on those couple of items.

I had a Bosch battery from Pep Boys, lasted for years no issues. Try Pep Boys for a credit against a new battery. Not likely to get cash.

In my experience a failing battery always gives clues. The auto stop/start was the first thing on my Mercedes SUV and Porsche 981. After putting both batteries on a CTEK the start/stop would work, but would quickly stop unless it was an extended drive. The Porsche gave a low battery warning after leaving the doors open for an interior cleaning. COSTCO sells Interstate batteries, both flooded and AGM for most Porsche. You may have to select the "optional" size battery. COSTCO does not install.

Probably not too helpful to Bilal, as this thread, and the immediately previous post was 6 years ago

Maybe the replacement has also died since!

Cheers
