Default Still for Sale

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-Porsch...3:pf:0&vxp=mtr

This is a car I first looked at over 7-8 years ago. Has been on and off Craigslist pretty much every year since. Each time it doesn't, sell the price seems to go up. Has been discussed here several times (see link below) - The last time I saw the car it needed everything - including paint. Offered him $25k at the time, (he was asking $28k) which IMHO is probably still all its worth. I have photos' as well as a carfax report if anyone is interested.

The seller does mention the seats having been re done. Last time I saw the car it had some Horrible aftermarket Recaros in it. I guess its entirely possible its been improved/restored since I last saw it - but I'd be very surprised. It was a real mess.

Located in SF supposedly. Which one of you told this guy to use Loctite red on the pinch collar bolt for the flexplate?

He is clearly flaunting this future PITA removal in pictures.

Agree, both front/rear bumper shocks are pushed in. However, for the price with the interior being above ave, that's a hellava deal for asking as long as it starts, runs, drives, steers, and brakes.

Yes, rear bumper shocks are collapsed. The front ones are too - the fog/running lights are inset too far, indicating that the bumper shocks supporting the aluminum inner bumper, to which the lights are mounted, are collapsed.

Original body type.

Denotes the first two years of production and before the spoilers were added. Has nothing to do with originality of body panels or paint, just the body style.

Some have adopted this all the way to the introduction of the significantly revised bodywork of the 1987 928 S4.

Passenger seat has a hole in the leather and the headliner above the drivers head looks to be warped/dislodged. Odd aftermarket looking LED headlights. Incorrect wheels, but I like the D90s best of all 928 wheels. All-in-all agree that if it runs and drives it's a good starter at that price,

Tony,

Is there a photo of the option sheet or Certificate of authenticity for the violet car? I'd be interested to find out if that painted rear wing is factory. No sunroof is pretty cool. I'd be all over this if I did not have a great 91 GT n the collection already.
