So wait, if there is an internet link to the car ad that we can find pretty easily, doesn't that mean it is already on a public site? And if we do find it, well this is a public forum and anyone is free to repost it here and most likely will once it is found. The only reason I can think that the seller wouldn't want it posted here is that he is trying to avoid any issues being openly discussed. So his market is unsuspecting buyers I guess.

Very nice 1983 moss green manual auto manual euro with less than 95,000 miles.
from his description and work done, it is evident that he/she knows what there are doing.
Nice condition leather dash.
Hope they get the asking!

Red #338 is also early enough to have the early style slim vents, so suspect all replaced (hence center vent ****?)
Interesting too that this car does not have euro side makers, just federalization add-ons.
I thought only the very earliest cars had no side markers? Any idea when that change came?
Wonder what number the tape under the glove box says....

Very few US 928s were built before #300, so #338 would be near actual production, poss. approx 370.
So it's an early one.
Re vents with and w/o ****, both were used in '78, and when their use was mixed w/no apparent logic. With **** was 'manual' center vent flap, w/o was 'auto' center vent flap.
For '78 the auto setup was not yet designed to work correctly. There is a way to make it work better.
The setup with the **** is easier to use in factory config.

Nice looking '86.5 auto with only 51K miles. Priced at $15K, good be a good deal pending PPI.

Red not your color? Here is another '86.5 auto. This time in Iris blue over blue. Again with its original radio and also low mileage at 44K miles. Nice looking car but another lesson in how hi res photography and lack of attention cleaning are not good bed partners.

Yes, this was posted ~1 month ago here when the price went from $11k to $15k within a few days. Weird marketing since it is not selling. Maybe it is on consignment and the owner realizes so much interests at $11k will automatically translate to being sold at a higher price.
That's what BaT and auctions are for.
