Help an Old Guy Out

I stroll through this thread only once in a while. When I do the posts are disjointed, mostly because my slow and late stream of conciousness isn't at the same pace as the postings. To help me and maybe more for folks who come through later looking at history, please put the car you are discussing in the post title. You'll get to use the "advanced" tab instead of the Quick Reply, but it will allow the coarse equivalent of car-specific threads within the for-sale thread.

Really nice looking gold car. Interior was decent, ad said it was a driver. Even the front spoiler was intact.

First pic is not the same car, subsequent pics indicate/confirm it's a Japan spec car (front fender flares, rear fender extensions). Odd that the listing is from San Carlos CA, and the car is registered in VT, yet there are no plates on the car. VT places state inspection sticker top center of windshield (can't tell if one is there in the pics provided). Registration in a state not requiring title, and the fact that the selling location is all the way across the country, and it's a Japan spec car would dictate some due diligence is required to understand the ownership trail. Smells fishy to me, but could be legit.

I noticed that too. The first pic would be a US '93-'95. The rest appear to be a Japanese model like the listing suggests.
UPDATE: the first pic was removed from the listing.

Website looks legit. Looks like they are importing interesting cars via the over 25 year old rule. Also interesting that a few of their cars listed have VT registrations. I wonder why. Maybe some sort way to get cars without titles registered in the states?
