Yep, first 928. (6th Porsche overall)
Was close with Alex, but wife nixed that deal so she could get a 991.
This time I'm not telling her until it's in my garage.

I thought so. I know you were looking for a while and had some interest on a few that cam up on BaT. Well congrats, that's a sweet entry into the 928 world for sure!

Congrats , as Alex said you can't go wrong on one that Jim had his hands on. He brought a 1978 back to life for me. Thanks for all your positive comments on Bat when I had the 1990 GT on it. I have a line on another 1990 GT which has 2/3 's less mileage on the one I just sold. Will give the 928 community first shoot on it before posting it on BAT.
Best Regards LongRunner

Well it's about damn time you got one And you can't go wrong with this one, as I'm sure Jim gave it a complete going over. Are you going to Hershey? Would love to see it in person.

I hope you still drop in on BaT to contribute to the sharks there.

Yes, I'm planning on going to Hershey.
I live just a little over an hour away and our local PCA region (Riesentoter) always does a road trip out there for the day.
I will definitely still be active on BaT. I'm an addict, even though they still don't let all of my comments go through.

Anybody remember this poster?
It used to hang on my bedroom wall when I was a teenager in the 80s and it currently hangs in my garage.
I have been blessed enough to be able to realize every kids dream of owning his poster-on-the-wall childhood hero.
I've got two of three.....I guess I'm looking for a Lotus Esprit now

Either a very quick flip (not much to gain with the current asking price) or the transaction never went through on BaT:
