Hmmm ... zero feedback, ebay member since 2014, no contact info in ad, buyer be cautious.

I think he’s legit. CL ad twice in last 6 months but his asking went from $27k to $30k and I’m sure he’s on eBay for the increase exposure. I just don’t think market is there for it yet for an euro auto that’s not completely perfect. Even with a pascha interior.

If it’s an ‘79, shouldn’t it have phone dials?

The market is no where near his asking $$ for this car.

Then my '88 S4 should be commanding $50K LOL. I'm not generating any interest at $27K!

Mike, hold firm. Your car is worth every bit the ask. It is just a timing thing. Closer to Spring and you will see it go.

Ed, thinking of BAT possibly April-May. I will hold tight for now. No test drives in this lousy weather.

The cashmere beige '79 5-speed on BAT sold for $10,550 (one bidder admits he placed a higher bid, but was too late). Striking color (whether you like it or not), and I believe the sale is another benchmark that demonstrates the rising values of OBs, and yet it still seems to be well-bought! Not a concours car, but a solid driver that needs small odds & ends.
