I saw this one and it got my attention since it is in my town but there are some red flags. The receipts show $10k of work form Trophy Performance. I just had my 928 there and they do great work. If you look at the work order obviously the car sat for a long while and wasn't running when they took it in for service 09/2018 but it would not take then 3 months until 12/2018 to complete that work. The car still has BC Canada plates 8 months later (in some of the pics, no plates in others)? Or are these pictures old? Has it been sitting since last September? I see they took it to the body shop in January for a partial paint job. There are some mismatched items and makes me wonder how solid the car is. Who has a car with more power functions on the passenger seat than the driver seat? Are those car auction key tags all over the keys in the ignition? It is obviously a flip and he probably got it for dirt cheap out of Canada. I hope it sells for $20-25K for an automatic with a suspect history. That will make me feel better about my Craigslist 5-speed find rather than competing on BAT for Canada car in Las Vegas from a car flipper.

This car was RNM on BaT in 2016 ($13,500) because there was discussion about ?body panel damage from previous accident.
Jim sold it to a guy in NJ who also owned the opal metallic pascha that did not meet reserve on another BaT auction earlier this year. He was not very engaged during the week of the auction.
He had his opal metallic asking price decreasing from $29k to mid-$10s.
I spoke to him several times, but I loss interests in both when I started to concentrate on consolidating my cars.
He stated that he wanted to sell the cars for his business venture and relocation. Was willing to sell both with the right price.
IIRC: he told me he was thinking high $20s for the silver #88.
Here are the threads to those auctions:

'78 5-speed w/pasha. Says it's a Euro with side marker delete. No rubbies and original radio perhaps? Says its the 78th car but doesn't list the vin, so could be no. 68 but would be cool if it was actually no. 78 and is a '78.

Following that fiasco, the car was further improved, then sold to the guy in NJ (now CA) in 2017.

Sorry Jim, you are correct. I forgot that the car was "sold" but the transaction was never finished.
Sorry about the error. The guy who had it in NJ loved the car and I felt he probably underpaid (no idea how much), since the car was "sold" on BaT for only $13.5k.
Surprised he actually transported it out to California and selling it there. That would explain why he decreased his asking for that opal metallic to $14,900 OBO on CL several weeks ago.
