This looks like a collector grade example right here. '79 euro, opal metallic over pascha, no sunroof, no rubbies, original radio and only 78k miles. Nice!

Louie,

If I didn't just have to redo the motor in my GTS I would cut you a check for your GT. That is one special car !

I remember it being built and being at Devek

That car looks great, and the price is extremely reasonable if it's as clean in person as it looks in the photos. Too bad about the auto
Looks like it was "updated" in the '80s. Wouldn't take much to put it back to original.
That's not a factory radio. Looks like mine; they've put the Blaupunkt-branded model of the same Porsche radio in there. Only difference is the name on the cassette door.

Very worthy of a look! Anyone in the area?

Good eyes. I can't even read the name on the cassette door in that ad.

So would this be the correct radio for a '79? Wonder why someone would remove the Porsche radio only to replace it with the exact same one but Blaupunt-branded?

Looks like the FBC was replaced with the "S" version that have the upper duct cutouts. Recommend to have a good look under the front of the car for previous front end damage and maybe why that "S" FBC was installed. That said there will be some holes in the body panels that will need to be filled, prepped and painted if bringing back to original Ben said it's an auto and these earlier 928's are the 3-speed version. Radio was probably replaced because the original s_ _t the bed like many Bamburg's do and at least they found one that fits and didn't butcher the trim surround. Pascha looks like it's coming undone and appears to be the black/brown version. This pascha combo is NLA and will need to replaced with black/tan or ? Really nice to having Nate, Ben, and others finding and commenting on these cars with there knowledge. Educates potential buyers what there getting into and help in negotiations.02 T

The black 4231 mile '95 GTS at RM Sotheby's sold for $140K. That might be a record, especially with the buyer's premium. The car is not quite mint as us Rennlist eagle-eyes have pointed out, but IMO that's going to be the upper bound for 928 prices for a while.

Nice recall! Apparently mine doesn't go back 12 months.

I have not seen this one at any of the local meet-ups I've been to. Pretty rough, but on the positive side, no sunroof, no rubbies, original radio, and it's a 5-speed.
