Default 1978 928 for sale #9288101108

I'm in the middle of restoring a red 1978 car. Then....this bronze '78 car pops up...and of course....I buy it. Well, I realize I need to focus on my red car, SO this very original, very straight, decent paint, Euro 5 speed car is up for sale. Previous Rennlist owners have had it in Texas, Mississippi, and Alabama since 1995. It is in need of the normal fix up repairs for early cars. The paint is in decent condition, but starting to show some clear coat wear on the edges. There are more interior shops advertising 928 upholstery at more reasonable prices or install late model Porsche seats. The rear black cloth seats are in usable shape. Lots of 928 bits on Ebay at real cheap prices. Not many 1978 cars out there and this 928 would make a very good candidate for your garage and an opportunity to own the second most coveted 928. (just after a 928GTS......according to Hagerty!!!). It fires right up, runs, and stops, but frankly I have not driven it on the street at speed. I would recommend that you bring a trailer. Located in Greenville SC. Asking $5,900. email Lkuhn@charter.net. Odometer says 103,000, which is believable with the receipts.

Congratulations Jeff!

I looked at it before it was finished and it is a super solid example...

With that awesome interior, there is no way you will get away with "Its always been there"

Enjoy!

That's brutal. You wonder what it takes to tear up a bolster like that.

I think I have an idea...

^ $202,859.25! I dunno. For that money you can basically buy any 928 in the world. I'm sure Ed would sell me Bluemax for that, right Ed?

What is that plug next to the clock?

That low mile 85 garnet red is like new, but it appears to have one S4 wheel on the right rear.

But don't be fooled. This car has been for sale at least 2 years now!

One of only a hand full of cars with burgundy interiors that I personally have liked. It's a funny color, but this does look good.
