Marti,

Congratulations on getting the first print of the intake back from the printer! Quite an accomplishment and out of the box design capacity by going 3D printer vs metal fabrication. Can not wait to see/hear the results!

I am planning another trip to Ireland/Scotland in 2020 with less golf and more free time, so perhaps I can pick one up from you then? I'd love to put this on my outlaw GT. Please consider this a purchase reservation to secure an early spot in post testing production. If units are available sooner than my trip, I'll gladly take one earlier.

Enjoy!

Dave

Thanks Dave, once you work out your dates let me know and we can get some time booked.

I anticipate final design tweeks and live testing through 2019 with of course dyno testing, the first of which kicks off early January to measure the baseline. I should therefore have a good idea how everything is coming along in 6 months with hopefully power runs to measure what difference this makes.

I am super happy with how the first print has gone and getting more comfortable with saying that we really are pushing the technology and design capabilities here.

I will report back on my first dyno run results which will verify how the current setup is working.

Can’t wait to get to the live testing.
Pictures?

Marti, nicely done, and also to keeping on schedule - it has arrived exactly when you said it would several months ago.

I am sure everyone is thinking this - any chance of seeing pictures of it?

I will refrain from pictures until we get to the first working prototype, but it should not be long before that happens.

Second static test early January and then first the first prototype before the end of January.

I figured that may be the case, but had to ask regardless - fully understand...

But, can't wait to see it!

Hey Marti
I live very close to you in Gorebridge. Your car is absolutely beautiful. I shall look out for it on the streets of Edinburgh where I work. Amazing work, I am completely blown away by this car.
Thanks for sharing Marti

So second static test completed yesterday of the manifold. Great progress with fine tuning the design.

We we will do one more minor static test to check a further change we want to make. Expect to complete that by mid February and then produce the first fully working example by the end of February. Hopefully start on car testing early March

One further addition to my interior was fitted today, replacement gear lever and leather boot from Paul Champagne. A cherry on top of all the other great work I am lucky to have from Paul.

I love the look which in my eyes looks cleaner with less fuss.

Yes, but does it shift better?
What color are those seats? Did he do them too?

Hi Yogii

It shifts exactly the same but looks very different. I do prefer the way this feels to the T bar shifter.

The seats are gray and also done by Paul Champagne, they have a slight tint of green to them which gives them a different warm look instead of a flat gray. I really like them and it works very well with the speed yellow exterior.

A picture of one of the test samples from early development.

Static testing is now complete and we are now working on completing the design for the first product sample for full “live” testing.

I expect to be in receipt of this by the end of March. Very exciting developments.....
