Well, once again, I have been unable to get a shark ready for SITM. #30 runs like a top, but is very stripped down, and the white 82 runs like crap and is partially stripped. Due to manpower issues at work, I have spent the last 3 weeks pulling 70-80 hr weeks (I'm salary on top of that), so I have had 0 shop hours. Whitey was getting close, but I still can't get her to run well under load...I am now 99% sure it has jumped time. Got the parts for TB and WP...just trying to find the time...I also have the center console out prepping for one of Als DD kits, and the passenger door panel off, as I started to replace the speakers, and got side tracked....

Oh well, at least the white truck knows the way! Lol....I "might" trailer up the white 82, if I can get the power up enough to drive it onto it......I dunno.

Regardless, see you all real soon...and don't forget...that Saturday is my birthday...so I'll need lots of beer!

Determination deserves beer! Looking forward to seeing you, Ron! I'm just waiting for refurbed injectors, then of course the acid test when I turn the key. She looks worse than ever (DIPed you will recall) but the mechanicals are getting in order. In any case looking forward to this one.

Ron -

What style of beer do you like. Will bring you something from Indy.

Looking forward to seeing the entire crew.... just a few short weeks away.

Regards,
Hans

Hans, any beer is good with me. I like pilsners, and light beers...not a big fan of darks, but I'll try anything once...twice if I like it!

My prep list isn't too long.

Clean rims, mount/balance tires, align front toe is off. That's me.

Fix radio and window switch wiring. That's Hans... and beer.

Change oil wash and go!

Oh yeah, and stock up on beer!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

New shocks are in, woo hoo.

Still need to:

Align and balance
Replace PS feed hose
Change oil
Clean, clean, clean

I will there with the 86 and my recently purchased 87. The 87 needs a paint job but...it runs.

Anyone interested in a little fun run coming in from the North on Friday, I'm planning to run this route.

Looking to stay somewhere near Lexington Thursday night and be rolling out of Lexington no later than 10 AM. PM if interested and I'll start an alternate thread if to coordinate.

If anyone has a Hammer and is bringing it to SITM please let me know. The airbag light has been on in the GTS since I bought it and I would like to get it cleared. Thanks!

I have a Theo Tool, which I will bring. It does almost everything the Hammer does, plus a couple other things as well.

Land of Oz: Defunct North Carolina Theme Park to Open for Limited Time in June, Organizers Say
The Beech Mountain park will open Fridays in June for its “Family Fun Month,” which includes tours with Dorothy. The park was open from 1970-1980 and was once the second-most popular East Coast park.
