some interesting rules indeed.
FWIW
At the New Hope PA, auto show held over a two day weekend ,
The same 928 has won 5 years in a row ,
and the owner is a judge,
so he goes to the same meetings as all of the other judges.
This I do wish they had a rule that you cant be a judge and present a car,
and or if you won then you were not allowed to enter the same machine for 3 years

Richard, yes and heck yes! I want to see your 612, I am a big fan of those underappreciated cars.

Of course in our case, none of our competitors get to compete again apparently.
I am thankful that we were able to show last year, and make what I believe to be a big impact. It was great to see the entire 928 community, RL, 928OC, and of course the individual owners, all come together and put together a great representation of our favorite Porsche!

Carmel isn't the only concours on the peninsula that week. As I mentioned before, Concorso Italiano has a non Italian exotics class this year, and I have put one Italian and one British car in the show. Seeing that car week on the Monterey peninsula is the biggest and best car event in North America, if 928'ers wanted to visit and have a show to enter Carmel concours on the avenue is not the only game in town that week....
If you think Carmel is tough, try getting an entry to Pebble or Quail...
Ok, enough ranting!!
Cheers!

Registration is open today for Werks reunion in Carmel during Monterey Car Week.
The water cooled cars are a feature this year. 924, 944, 968 & 928
If anyone wanted to bring their 928 and was curious about a place where you can display your car, this is a Porsche only event.
It also has 928's as a feature compared to other shows.
Cheers,

Three Wheelin'
Pictures from LY at Werks.
It was an "easy" win. only three cars in the class. one 944 and one 968. definitely need more transaxle presence at this show.
the show has good layout, on a golf course, right off the road in Carmel. There are tones of prizes and raffles that you are entered in automatically if you show.
I encourage you all to show and participate! Lets take over the transaxle class!
