Default Back to basics for my sound system project

Hi Everyone,
I am spending the winter (non-driving) season looking into re-speakering my 1981, Running into speed bumps as expected. I need help figuring out what was originally in the car.

Does anyone have specs on the following part numbers?
928 645 402 00 – front speaker, 78-91
928 645 403 00 – rear speaker, 78-91

And information on the power antenna
928 645 035 01

Thanks in advance.

Ed, I know some of us are purist on restoration but do you want a great sound or originality? To me I want great sound (since I am a Musician). For me putting 30 year old technology of this type is a waste. Maybe a Concours judge may spot it, but are you really preparing your car for Concours? My opinion & two cents.

Hi Mike,
Appreciate the input. Likewise, quality is important.
Not really looking to restore to the day it left the factory. Yet, I don't want to modify the door/rear panels. Knowing what was installed originally will help me know what of today's offerings will install/work well. Or what I need to design myself to adapt the car's speaker mounting to available speakers.
Don't take this wrong, I do want my shark to be as stock as possible and as nice as possible, acknowledging my budget gets in the way of factory fresh.
Knowing the factory specs for the speakers will help me locate adequate replacements.
Thanks!

Ed, I can't recall what size are in the door of an early body any standard speaker should fit should fit. Measure the old ones if they are still there. The ones is the rear seats are 6 inch. The only thing to watch is the depth of the new speakers.

I have Infinity's back there (rear seat). They fit well and are quality.
You will still have to add something in the very rear of the car if you want any kind of low frequency.
