Wow 2 unique colored 5 speeds at the same time. Both in what appears to be good shape.

I suspect lots of letters to Santa.

This fine example will give Alex something to shoot for. IIRC Alex has a Talbot Yellow OB in his collection that he plans to restore. T

Yes, and both with the incorrect wheels.

there were factory early autos with the 16" phone dial wheels, and conversely factory 5 speeds with the 15" phone dials. It was all in what the purchaser preferred and ordered. All combinations are correct.

Love the color!
Those are the right steering wheels. Changed in '80.

I found this car on craigslist for $3500 IIRC back in July or so...missed it by 20 minutes, was second caller...seller real douchebag, bought it cheap off a guy with dementia and was flipping it - actual quote: - "I bought everything the old man had - his cars, RV, etc....had alzheimers - he didn't know what anything was worth"...then it showed up at this place detailed as all get out. Called them then (was listed for about 12k). Price had gone up the longer it's out there...odd. nice car for an '80 ;-)...

Yes, Tony, I have a Talbot Yellow 1978 5 spd. Euro...but it's led a rough life despite low miles...needs a total restoration, smells like a raccoons *** inside and painted with a rattle can but it's a real '78 Euro low miler.. way cool car:

Description:
1980 928 5 Speed Talbot Yellow #106
Factory Original Paint untouched Matching number car!

We are please to offer this excellent original example of a well cared for exceptionally well maintained Ultra rare Talbot Yellow early 928 5 speed.

This vehicle spent the majority of it's life in Texas, and the last 3 years in a temp controlled garage here in Chicago. The car has been well cared for and it clearly speaks for itself,

The Mechanicals on this 928 are all in great condition including engine and transmission. No funny noises coming out if this super tight engine, runs cool and quiet. No leaks that we have observed , the undercarriage is dry and clean and rust free as shown in pics. Wheels and tires are nice, no scratches on the rims with excellent tread on the tires, tires are older and a little dry but have hardly any miles on them . Rear shocks are new as is the exhaust system. Car drives great!

I personally have put 200 miles on this car, you can drive this car comfortably in regular modern traffic with ease, The car handles remarkably well for it's age, takes corners well and is a joy to drive.

working cold A/c Texas car,
properly working sunroof and power windows
very strong brakes

Interior is in very good condition with minor wear on the original seats, Dash is super nice with very minor shrinkage in a small area, all other panels are super clean and straight including a pristine headliner, very nice door panels and very clean and nice rear interior panels with no shrinkage

Paint is in very nice condition, it has beautiful depth and shine, has some patina and some scratches here and there as you would expect from an original paint vehicle but presents extremely well.

This car has 67k original mileage. There are no stories with this car, we welcome and encourage inspections prior to purchase.

Please call Mas for details 312 884 1 1 7 4

Price: $20,800

Except for some nicks and scraps, the paint seems to be in really good shape. You will never have a problem finding that one in a parking lot.
