Default San Diego timing belt?

If you're in the lower left corner of the country and about due for a timing belt (etc.) drop me a line. I have a good workshop but no 928 experience, and would enjoy doing multiple cars at once.

It's setting itself up right now.
I'll advise here and collect beer preferences...

One responder has printed and bound opinions and procedures, so the procedure can benefit from experience whether attendees have any or not.

I have room for two cars in the garage and three in the driveway - the third spot in the garage has become my workshop. Also, I have full access to a fast prototyping facility (you must do SolidWorks or have the file) in polycarbonate or PLA, and a military auto hobby shop with lifts.

For travelers, we also have a giant house with two spare unused bedrooms!

This might get interesting.

Let us know here when you may be gathering. I am also in SD and may be able to come by.

Give it a couple of days, then we'll converge on a start date.

How about Dec 19-20?
That provides time to get whatever bits and pieces might be needed.

That is far enough to plan some time for.

"I have a good workshop but no 928 experience, and would enjoy doing multiple cars at once."

I'd think that doing one and seeing how that goes, might be a better approach....

Come on by!
Can you swing a wrench? Can you tell others what they're doing wrong?

A fair number of SD people are only on the Pelican forum, a post there might attract a few more.
