If you install a PKT the terrorists win.

The rain is coming. We might have to schedule around the weather like normal people instead of always relying on it being perfect.

I hear there was a run on PKTs recently.

If the crank guide roller(s)¹² are left in you can retrofit a PKT later without removing the balancer³.

¹ Required with the stock tensioner, optional with the PKT.

² The crank roller(s) try to keep the belt teeth engaged in the crank gear as the stock tensioner can't always be trusted to do so.

³ The center cover will slide over the balancer with a little coaxing.

Probably in 1979..just kidding...i got this as is a while back it had been running smoother just recently its been acting up as described. The guy who had it before me got it running after sitting for 10 years. He did a lot to it and i believe tuning it was one part. I know he did the belt. Ill go thru the basics and see if it looks new or not. One thing i did do was put a new fuel filter recently..but i cant figure the warm cold if the filter is the issue..this all seems to be at initial acceleration say between 2nd and 3rd when the engine is cool still. On the freeway no problems cold or hot.
