I could be in luck then. I think the petrol cap side may be the cheaper one. Has a spot of rust at the window, two along the bottom and I suspect around the petrol cap. I know the previous owner had a repair around the cap. It now looks like the repair is failing.

There is a company in the UK that makes a fiberglass re-pop of the GTS rear quarters and the special shaped gas cap that goes with it, along with front and rear bumpers, wings and other parts. I can't remember the name right now but I'm sure someone else will pull the name up soon. IIRC Carl at 928 motorsports also carried some of their pieces for a short time. Being a Brit, I would bet that ROG100 would also know who they are.

I took the plunge a few years back, think I'm still paying for them! Was able to get everything new apart from the elusive fuel door spring - 928 504 345 05. If anyone has one lying around NOS I'd be very interested?

When I did this conversion to my S4 years a go the quarter panels were expensive... but now I think they are almost douible. The fuel door was more expensive than an entire door with window from 928 Intl at the time... You can't even buy the fuel door hinge in one piece. Never could its like 10 little parts and is a jigsaw puzzle to assemble.... I had to assemble mine in the presence of one on Roger's GTS... even after I had take 4-5 pics of the hinge thinking I could put it together at home....
since its NLA.... does that mean a GTS can be totaled if the fuel door is stolen?

I think Louie might still have some of his "Niizaazz" rear fenders available, pictures and info here: http://performance928.com/cgi-bin/pa...ss_parent=1128
They are a bit wider than GTS, shaped to fit S4/GT, and look great! Some assembly required of course.

You could also go the direction that I went and have your S4 fenders reformed by a custom metal shop. A shop near me reworked the fenders to get them to match the contours of the front fenders. I think this is something Porsche should have done all along.
I had a set of Carl's fiberglas fenders and they said there was no way they were going to put their name on installing this type of setup on a car. It was either the full on GTS quarters or rework the metal of the original fenders. They said the different expansion rates of the fiberglas and steel would eventually cause the joint to fail. It wasn't a matter of if, just when. Then you'd have to do body work along the seam again.
Here's what the finished product looks like:

I assume it involved some repainting after the reshape?
Thanks!
