Default My Electrical Saga 85 928S 5 speed

Well I cked the Key switch connections and they were correct. I started the car (Starts right up now ) No gauges no warning lights when key is turned on. Just the main warning light in middle of dash and the red charge light in Amp gauge. I removed the cluster from the pod Plugged it in and started the car wiggled the three strip connections and tach jumped to life but barely was registering RPMs , wriggled more connections and the Oil pressure gauge which Always pegged to 5 when starting and running suddenly started working properly, Gas gauge now works and temp gauge , so the tach still is out and Amp gauge (used to always work) what can I do to check the problems with the cluster now out and exposed? The No starte problems in my previous posts , the New starter burned out,, Rebuilt Auto Zone, returned it and bought a Bosch rebuilt one.. Also the starter Relay was bad.. Double whammy

It would be good to keep your posts in one thread so they make sense...
