If you search user name "Cortina", you'll find a 928 that regularly competed in rallies I believe in the UK. Don't recall the mods, but I believe he lifted the suspension at least 1". He posted awesome videos on YouTube, search "Rally 928". Gulf livery.

928 on ice track with appropriate ice tires, not mine but looks like they have serious attack ongoing

Few years back I tested my S4 on gravel road with nice smooth curves. Steering is definitely too slow but torque helps to keep the car on right position through the tighter curves.
That was so fun, until speed was like 130kmh and I realized I'm close to my personal and cars limits, so happy ending this time.

Nope easy to see the solid rear axle from some 4X4 truck chassis under that poor 928 ...

Thankyou ...........
Car still lives (well , kind of - it's being rebuilt after an excursion , lighter , stronger and "better" I hope)

To answer the point raised : car was not really raised at all , BUT much work was done on spring rates and damping to get it to handle properly over bumpy Irish roads. Hopefully in the next year or so , some more videos will be posted ..... I'm trying to loose 100Kg out of an already light car (relatively : circa 1250 kg now) ... which is quite a challenge !!

Any 928 is a safari 928 if driven in poor enough conditions! This is after outrunning landslides in Malibu a few years ago. Not an experience I would like to do again...
