re: Ole Jorgensen/Welding Works
Ole Jorgensen was not credited with his extraordinary attention to detail and expertise in the complete transaxle rebuild, Ole did a perfect job, it was a big oversight not to acknowledge his contribution along with Mark Anderson, Rod Ferguson (Miracle Designs), you, Greg and others who were rightly credited in the article. There was no way Rob and I trusted ourselves to do that critical transaxle work and have confidence the end product would be flawless and reliable.
Thank you Ole and sorry your credit and contribution to a great end product was a day late and a dollar short!

William got notice a while back that the Porsche Experience Center LA (PECLA) was looking for some nice examples of transaxle cars for display in the main lobby, so Minerva will be in residence for the next month. They held their 'Morning Shift' cars and coffee event this morning, so we went up in the GTS and hung out. Nice to see some vintage wassergekulht in the lobby.

One of my favorite 928 projects of all time. Easily top 10, arguably top 5, for me anyways. I'm gonna make a point of visiting Carson in the next couple weeks. Thanks for the heads up rob.

Yes, there was a gorgeous 1993 968 Turbo S (1 of 14, Euro market only) there last month, which was swapped out for the 924GT, above. It was drool-worthy:

Spent the day at the Santa Monica airport for the 58th annual Los Angeles PCA concours. Minerva got entered in the Street -judged class #9 (transaxle cars). The judging criteria seem to be based entirely on cleanliness, she got pinky probed in every orifice:
And despite some dirty pinkies, she managed to win 1st place in class. That said, I'm not sure there were any other entrants in the transaxle class...
But the cool part of the day was that Petrolicious ran a social media vote on Instagram about the judged car with the best story, and Minerva won that vote. The prize for which was some cool swag and a free membership. If you haven't seen any of their driving films, you should, they're great. https://www.youtube.com/user/PetroliciousCo

Wow, congrats! Such a stellar OB.
Out of curiosity, are Minerva's wheels raw aluminum or painted? They look great.
