Most track capable Corvette, ever. - Not what's actually being reported, unfortunately. 9/10, maybe
Comparing to an s4 is really goofy though. Time marches on, and many earlier Corvettes would beat the s4 in all categories except rear seat room But claiming the C7 Z06 is the end-all, is disingenuous

You have to follow the conversation. I was responding to Steve who brought up my previous defence of the 928 against ugly supercars that could out perform the 928 in tests. I was reinforcing the idea that this good looking vette is in another performance world and a great bang for the buck at 100K compared to the GTS at 125K unless of course you are some imo strange dude that has money to blow to squirrel a machine away in a closet to stare at a few times a year. ------- I think cars should be driven or put on public display in a museum vs. mothballed privately. --------- speaking of good looking http://www.rssportscars.com/photos/c...s-08-front.jpg

I don't know what you are saying in your 1st line, I do know that the Z06 Z07 is the best perforimg corvette ever. http://www.autoblog.com/2014/10/01/2...-quarter-mile/

But in reality, there seems to be so many reports from owners of the Z06 who claim their cars overheat, run hot, and go into a reduced power mode after a few laps on the track. My point, was I have not seen the same from a 928 owner. SO perhaps the 928 GTS is a better car for the long haul, vs. a few laps and wait?

"Most Track Capable Corvette Ever" was a quote from GM:
