I don't get the Mag hate either.
I'd say he's what most of us should aspire to be, innovative, gungho, imaginative, and damn good at what he does.

Can see Magnus walk over to my 928 at around 5:50 here. Very nice guy and a genuine Porsche enthusiast.

He's also built a multi $100 million dollar apparel brand
But hundreds of millions?!?!? Are you sure it's really that much..?
I absolutely love the fact that he came from such humble beginnings.
And it's truly refreshing that he hasn't strayed a bit from his original values and beliefs.
But I have to admit I personally think his appearance is absolutely ridiculous.
Although I wouldn't hold that against him.
Truly an incredibly colorful and fascinating individual...

Walker, has to be the richest "Deadhead" on earth. I wonder if he's ever washed his hair?

Anyone who wants their 928 values going up should grin every time Magnus is captured on video saying he wants a 928. He likes the older original styles of all Porsche's. As soon as he picks one up and displays his finished product, the values of all years of the original body style will get a value jump that exceeds what Hagerty or anyone else expected.
I sense that Magnus know's he's in a position to elevate the status of the 924, 944, and 928....and he's going to do it. He's done it for himself, his neighborhood in LA, and he will certainly do it for any P-car. Some of the rags to riches element is at play as well...he's about seeing the underdog win. The 924 and 928 are his prime targets

I agree totally with this statement! I don't want the values of my car to go up either. The surge in early 911 prices has ruined a lot of the enjoyment I was getting out of building that car into an historic racing car. Now I keep thinking, dam, why didn't I go down the hot rod/road car route.. I certainly cant race it enjoyably now without thinking of how much I`m risking.
