S4 Transmission Governor Replacement
I was able to remove the snap ring and cover for the Governor. I have located the axle nut. It is behind the reservoir. It seemed impossible to move with a screw driver. So I sprayed it with WD40. I plan on removing the Transmission Pan and Reservoir tonight so I can get to it better.
That little triangle window was the only spot I could see the axle not / screw.
NOS Governor I bought off of Ebay
Governor Cover off of Transmission

On the other side if the transmission (right side) there's an oil pump with three 5mm headed Allen head screws. There's also a 10mm nut with a slotted shaft in the middle.
This shaft is attached to a plastic piece that retains the governor.
Loosen the nut and allow the slotted shaft to rotate counter clockwise.
The governor will then pull right out.
Install the new governor (use transmission assembly lube on the shaft of the new governor) and rotate the slotted shaft clockwise. Torque the 10mm nut to 40 inch pounds, without holding the shaft.
It's that easy....although I have no idea why you are screwing with this....
