Default WTB: S4 intake

Cracked the intake when tightening one of the rear nuts. Cracked all the way through to the injector

Would really like to avoid paying $400 from 928intl.

This is for an 88.

How did that break/crack, were you using new rubber spacers and a torque wrench?
just curious as I wouldn't want to see you do it again

Both sides rear studs didn't have the rubber spacers, just some washers. I wasn't using a torque wrench, I wasn't even turning the wrench very hard. I'm getting the rubber spacers too. Won't make the same mi$take again.

That sucks, but I can see the temptation.

LMK.

Yep that would do it, the rubber is in there for engine expansion, so the S4 manifold should not be hard bolted to the heads.
Thanks for the feedback, happy 4th
