Default Transmission shipping question

Has anyone used a reliable shipper to ship a transmission? I've sourced two used transmissions ($300-400 range) in southern California. I believe i will buy one of them as I need a 1st and reverse gear. What should I expect for shipping costs? Thanks, Murf

I used fedex ground. Just under the 150 pd weight limit for a drained manual. $167 from Tn to somewhere way out west.
