I like it. I like the off-beat, quasi-Brit/Italo visual references. I like different. I absolutely loathe the stock wheel - what is it good for- absolutely nothing!

Hey if you're stranded and surrounded by wolves at least you don't need to wander far to gather wood for a fire.

I really like that wheel. I am not sure it goes in a 928. That said, the stock 4-spoke wheel looks very dated.
But I like Pascha.
Good luck

I got this one on eBay years ago and installed it on the previous '79 convertible.

That one's a far cry from the aluminum-and-wood Nardi wheel. Much more modern IMO.

Perhaps you could make this work if you like the looks.

I think it looks great in that convertible too Hacker. I wonder how comfortable the wood would be though.

Technically it's a pre to early/mid '70s sports car
wheel but it still looks good to me in this car.

If you like it, that's all that counts.

If you want an aftermarket steering wheel, I suggest a Porsche Design, like this:

I guess it depends on the 928 and owner. Both of mine are badass, lol

Three weeks ago I would have agreed 100%. However, every day looking at my 80 in the garage it has so much more of a "vintage" stance than my other cars...my views are changing.

Nice, for my tastes the spokes need to be black though.

Wise guy....

Agreed, the stock 4-post wheel is awful. The only reason why any of my cars have one is the extended hub. One of these days I'll figure out a way to move one of those hubs to the 3-spoke wheel from the early cars (my 81 came with one as part of the comp package...)

This car will someday have pasha seats too.

Nice, but not the "look" I'm going for with this car.

Which dash cover is that?

Sorry, but I find that hideous. Looks like something on the shelf for a 4x4 at the local auto parts store.

The main point of this thread was to find a 928 with this wheel attached so see what it looks like...and maybe any other options.

The side banter / opinions is always a bonus.

That's nice. I'd give Randy's left nut to have that interior in any of my 928's.

One aspect I like about the Nardi wheel is the dish, gives it more character and brings out the wheel further.

I really like the black spoke wood wheel. The one you photo'd appears to have thicker wood and the diameter appears to be smaller than the classic Nardi wheel used in the DB4 - 6 Aston Martins. My black on black GT needs some color contrast in the interior and I think that wheel would be perfect for it. Thanks for idea!

If memory serves, the stock wheel is 380mm so all of these are smaller:

Or this one, still the dark wood with a more modern spoke:

See: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nardi-Classi...fb9453&vxp=mtr

Needed more TLC... so it certainly needs refinishing... (and some black paint on the dish) cheap checkout option?

FWIW it was pointed out that if you should have an accident and the wood wheel is installed,
the wood shards could be jammed into your body YMMV.

That said the wood wheel does look classic but I dont think it fits the 928
