New member introduction
New member so I thought I'd better properly introduce myself.
Name is Michael and I live in northern Denmark.
I am not new to Porsches but I am to 928s so I have spent a lot of time on the web trying to find the best place for 928 owners - which I believe I did here
I am going to pick up my new to me (very excited) 928 S4 tomorrow at the German border.
It is a MY 1987, Felsen grün(rock green) with grau grün (grey green) all leather interior.
I know people like pictures and I WILL post some once the car is in my garage.
As I said, I am new to 928s so I am sure I will be needing some help and advice from this friendly community

And a nice set of options on it- LSD, sport seats, sport shocks, 5-speed. Sounds like a great car.

Cool, welcome, and can't wait to see it! One of my favorite color combos.

Thanks for the welcome!
So I got the car home yesterday
Drove the car the 330 kms from the border (in tropic-like downpour ) to my house and what a machine the 928 is
It is completely different from the older 911s I am used to driving. So comfortable and effortless at speed. It does have a tendency to track steer, though. Guess the big 19" (225/265) turbo twists do not help in that regard.....?
The odometer reads 205.000 km but the engine was completely overhauled at 185.000 km after a blown head gasket. The PO decided to do some upgrades while the engine was out so the heads were ported, revised GT cams installed and it was then dialed in on the dyno. It produces 353 chp and 460 Nm if I recall correctly.
The rear spoiler is a carbon fiber copy of a Strosek (supposedly) spoiler. I find it too big and intend to install the original flip spoiler instead. I also intend to put on the original Gullideckel 16" rims and raise the front by one or two centimeters.
Please forgive the poor quality I-phone pictures....
