Sharks on the Mississippi III: July 17-19, 2015

It's that time again Midwesterners. Sharks on the Mississippi will be July 17-18-19 at the shooting park in Dubuque. We will have guns, driving and fun. It's going to be fun

Let me know if you are coming and what you are bringing. $20 covers all weekend of food, shooting, etc.

Don't speed on the way here. Iowa cops are dicks about going fast. Will have some fun twistys this year even if my car is not done.
Let me know who's coming please. I am covering difference between registration and all other costs.

Clarification: Event is at:
Dubuque Shooting Society

Click on above for google map.

Registration page has recommended hotel to stay at. Sorry for confusion.

Here's the registration link:

Your killing me, I just committed to SITM, I will do my best to be there again this year. My boss doesn't understand why I need so many weekends off.
(and by "boss" I dont mean Wifey)

Count us in. Funny thing I was just wondering the other day if you had a weekend set. I was hoping for the same week as the PGA event in Moline but not so. Last year was pretty cool. We parked next to this guy and he liked my car so much he gave us free tickets with club house passes.

I am working on a registration plan with someone hopefully I'll have that next week

Perhaps a Mod could make this a sticky?

Hey Jeff, I'm in.
I've been trying to get to this one for a couple of years now, and this time I just told the wife that I will be in Iowa if you need me between these two dates, :burnout:

I'm trying to get some other distinguished RL'ers around here to clear their calendars as well.
Looking forward to meeting some people in the flesh.
Don't worry, if I get pulled over by these Iowa cops, I have a Roger Tyson fake ID.

i'm there, Jeff. i'm trying to get my brother to come along this year, he would love the range! anyway, i can bring cookies again and anything else you don't want to mess with.

are we going to have some shop time this year? i have a couple of issues i need diagnosed.

on the car, that is! :D

jeff spahn 04-23-2015 12:55 PM

We are going to have a 1/2 day at my shop if anyone wants it. I have one lift there. Any other work will be small stuff at the shooting park like an air filter, spark plug, that kind of stuff. Since the shop is 15 min away people prolly won't want to be doing a lot of driving back and forth.

Never done one. I just bought a new one from Constantine and it took around 10 hours to replace alone.

What did the TT cost you Jeff?
