that paint is perfect,
simply give it a buff and wax it,
no possible way you could get that kind of patina.
Go through all of the systems and get it into tip top shape then drive it.
Jim is a great resource and yes he does know the early cars.
BTW Rob Budd can restich the wheel using the existing leather,
he did mine its perfect !

These fabric threads are always cool ; that Black Watch tartan is a prized possession in my '78 911. I doubt whether we will ever see such fabrics or designs in the cars of our future. The spray on leather seems to be de rigeur in most cars.
