MAF no Measurement??
Well its been a few years now and my car has not had the full power that I really think it should have. It has new injectors, coils, caps rotars, plugs, wires, fuel filter, tempII sens, techron treatment, rmb pipe. I think I may have discovered a problem.. after hearing about the MAF needing to be very accurate with its readings to give good info to our cars computer I came across the test for the pot swich (throttle,CO adj) doesnt show any resistance?.. I turned this pot switch 1/2 turn in either direction.. no resistance value??.. from JDS Porsche I read you should have a value of 300-600Ohms. Think It would make a difference if I close the screw all the way ?..dont want to break this thing any more than it probably already is... dont think any damge would occur??any one have this test fail on their MAF..and have gotten it to work?
PS..hope this is the problem with the cars performace besides the mouse nest I found In the air box..thats what I get for leaving the car unattended for about a month in a garage I have use of.. chewed through part of my filter too..!!

Sounds like it is broken. You can check the units output voltage also - if I remember correctly it should be sending 1.8V and the voltage should increase to ~4V as you blow accross the wire. As you mentioned however, even if you get these reading does not mean that the unit is in spec and operating properly. JDSPorsche does offer rebuilt units on a return or purchase basis. If it doesn't solve your problem - send it back.
