Default Brake Hose Crush Washers?

Hi. I'm just changing the flexi brake hoses on my S4. The parts catalogue says that there are only 2 washers (N 013 806 2) but shouldn't it be 2 per calliper? One either side of the brake hose. The image just suggests one on top of the hose.

Also can anyone confirm the dimensions as I'll need to order some more it says A 10 x 14. Is that 10 mm internal 14mm outer?

Cheers
Mike

Interesting question re crush washers. The steering lines all have 2 either side of banjo at connections, and also 2 per connection at fuel pump at rear. I would buy 2 per caliper and see what's there when you disassemble, as they are cheap!

Yes 10 x 14 is internal and external diameter (in other words the actual metal is 2mm wide)

Unfortunately I removed the lines a couple of weeks ago and can't remember what was there. I've used the two new washers I ordered on the driver side and have some more ordered for the other.

Really odd that the parts list specifies 2. Doesn't it usually list the required amount for the car which would be 4

PET is not infallible!

Has errors in other areas, and in this case my 87-91 catalogue doesn't even show any washers for rear brake hoses, unless I'm missing something!

Haven't got round to the rears yet so I'll be more observant when I take them apart. But I think they screw in at both ends and perhaps don't need them
