Selling my two 928's
Hi everyone,
I haven't been here in a long time, hope everyone is alright.
I haven't had time to take care of my 928 track car and my '91 S4. I am seriously considering to sell them or trade them for something, as I do not have any time to keep them up and they are slowly deteriorating, sitting outside. I am not sure what they are worth, but I think I have to post a price, so I would say $5k each.
The track car:
1982 Euro S manual, upgraded late model gearbox, coilover koni setup from Carl, gutted, ugly flat balck with fender flares and massive 18 inch wheels 10 inch fron, 11.5 rear (forged wheels), two sets of 295 race tires all around, rollbar (not installed), bunch of parts...
The white '91 S4
Bought it many years ago, it had and accident damage when I bought it, driver side door was damaged. Had it repaired for about $5k and drove it for about two years. It has since been sitting around and gets driven twice a year. Decent white outside paint, nice blue interior. Will check and take pics if anyone is interested.
Please let me know. Also if I violated any rules by posting a for sale post, let me know and I will delete it right away. I have greatly enjoyed all my 928's over the years, I just have no time with kids and office. Will probably buy one again soon, but that would be a perfect "91 GT. Still miss my supercharged GT.
cheers, Sab

Is that S4 an auto or manual?

You should ask more for the white S4 honestly. It is worth more than 5k in my opinion. It will go very fast at that price though if that is what you are after.

both cars have been sitting for a while now and currently do not look nice and are certainly no cream puffs.
I'm not out to make a lot of money and I do not want any problems and complaints or having to fix things.
So I will be glad if they get put to use agian. I am pretty sure I could get more money gutting the two of them.
Euro S motor, S4 motor, koni suspension, late model manual gearbox...

Virtually every 'bargain' 928 needs to gone through. How much it needs beyond that determines value to you at the low introductory price. You guys know what it all takes and what that costs. The S4 will make a good driver for someone I'm sure.
