That's only 2000 miles away. Couldn't you find something in Seattle? Or Canada, eh?

If I look really hard I might be able to find one in Japan. There is no fun in finding a 928 in your neighborhood. It is all about bonding with the beast on a long road trip.

If he buys it, you could be the delivery guy, and we could have a visit again and go get some dinner. Always enjoy your visits to DFW area. Go check it out for him.

I guess he doesn't want my blue with lipstick red beasty with new belt and pump. Sigh.

OP didn't put any restrictions on travel, color, miles, transm.
Besides CL, he should look on cars.com and autotrader.com.

Still looking.....for that elusive S4. What I am trying to find is a reliable daily driver. I am not looking for a Show Queen. Auto/Manual don't matter. As long as the TB/WP/Transmission/Radiator are reliable and serviced I am not hard to please.

Love the lines of that S4, and from owning a 82 and a 84 928s, I need to end my journey with a S4. One that I could own indefinitely.

You guys are AWESOME and I know you guys will lend a ton of support when called upon, not to mention Roger and 928 International for parts.

If you know of anyone selling an S4 and could use some CASH shoot them my way.

Thanks.

Hey, Doc....thanks for the pictures....and yeah that lipstick red is "different" and its a S4. New belt and Pump...and its a S4. I just need to put my eyes on it and see what she tells me. I look forward to catching up with you and your s4.

There's a guy near Grover SC who had several cars, I think he took them as trade for well drilling or something like that. He had an 87 S4 automatic. Don't know what it would need or what he would take. My son has an '87 that I replaced the broken timing belt, valve job, but hasn't been driven much. He'd maybe take $8,000. Needs driving and some sensors replaced or cleaned for fan controls and the like.

My brother has a white 87 auto with nice all blue interior. He has had the car alittle over a year or so. Needs all maintenance done on the car but it runs well. Dead STOCK. Needs tires and windshield. Right at 100K miles. $4500 FIRM the way it sits. Body is good. Paint is OK...some areas have been repainted. Has GTS rear bumper cover from a fender bender a few years back.

That leaves you some money on the table to get its TB done in Texas.
