I have a printer. Do you have a drawing or 3D model?

I don't have a 3D model or drawing on the **** insert.

I did spend some time on the transmission installation, and some of the mods required for the installation.

After a 2 year detour (life happens) I'm back on this conversion. I went with an electronic speedometer conversion box, as I didn't really like the GPS versions out there. Tomorrow I will be checking the alignment of the brackets again and adding thread locker to the pin bolts for them. Hopefully doing the final fit next weekend.

Transmission, torque tube and rear cross member all in the car as one unit with the upper bell housing as well. I felt it was easier to hang the suspension since I'm working solo nights and weekends. Rear control arms are hung, and drivers side upright and half shaft are installed.

Aftermarket shifter is too wide for the hole and I neglected to measure prior to installation. That will take a while to resolve.

Coil overs are done and front's are in the car. Front end is together and wheels are mounted so as soon as the rear is done time to drop down on the ground.

I dug up my stage 8 locking bolts for the rear half shafts. Need to find new circlip thingy's

You and me both. Now to see how much of my exhaust I have to cut and redo. That thing is tight. One thing I was worried about was getting to the plug on top for the speedometer signal and that is not an issue. I may actually be able to wire the reverse lockout if needed as well.

The pigtails for the reverse lockout are available at Summit, or I have them here if you want. I wired mine to a push-button switch on the dash, but connecting it to come on with the brake lights also works just is well and is more stealth.

Do you know what the connectors are called? I'd like to make my own harness. I'm not a big fan of pigtail leads, especially under the car. I'm specifically looking for the speedometer, reverse lockout, the trans temp and the reverse switch connectors. I may not use the temp or lockout but it would be nice to have it all tied together and terminate in the spare tire well.

One is called the "Backup Light Connector with Pigtails" and is PN AWW-500952

The other is called "Reverse Lockout Switch Connector" and is PN AWW-500950

I called Stage 8 to get new clips and it seems I was one of the early adopters and they updated the clips and bolts themselves. They are sending me out a new set of bolts to match the newer clips. They will be here. in time for the weekend so I will be back to work on Saturday.

Default Tonight's progress

I've been working a bit in the evenings this week to try and get the 928 back on the ground. I spend most of my time finding and cleaning hardware. Tonight I was all ready to button up the rear suspension and get it on the ground. and I find..... that my lower weisach pins are all boogered up on the threaded parts. Grrr.. Will have to see if Roger has them in stock tomorrow.
