Default CL Epic Fail of the Day

Not a GT, not a GTS, but just another S4 as shown on the rear bumper.

In '91 was the "928 S4" text all in a line like that? I thought all S4's were offset.

(yes i realize that's the least of the issues here)

Well it won't win a concours as it's not original.

Yes, the specification had the "4" offset, but I think the stickers were dealer-applied (at least that was the case in '88) so maybe they got creative.
But note the word "must", creativity is not permissible:

And what's the black one in the background, with red wheels? Anybody know that car?
Where's the engine pic's? And the underside? What's the point of talking up the underside without pics?
And doesn't anybody remember how to use a camera?

Someone needs to set this guy straight....he's either really stupid or trying to scam someone...or both.

Apparently GT's came with automatics, too.

People just go by the DMV registration which usually says S4/GT.

Ok. I'll be the dbag and email him and ask when they made the 91 GT in an automatic, put on GTS mirrors and painted the wing.

Here's what I asked him/her.
"Do you still have the original mirrors? Who did the repaint and what did it entail besides the rear wing? Do you still have the original wheels?
Who did the conversion from a 5 speed to automatic and did you retain the 5 speed? Is it a Corvette automatic or did you do a Porsche automatic?
When was the PSD last serviced?
When was the endplay in the crankshaft last checked? Is it in spec and if so what was the reading?
When were the climate control vacuum pots replaced?
Has the rear pinchbolt on the TT been checked recently and what was the outcome?
Did the cam gears get replaced during the timing belt service? Did you use Porsche parts or the new updated parts from 928sRus?"

Much more fun if you replaced Automatic with Roger's Slushbox.
