Blaupunkt 4" speaker repair
Decided I wanted to keep the stock sound system in the GT. PO had swapped out 4" speaker on pass side and it had a poor aftermarket grill.
Bought speaker/grill ( thanks to 928 Intl sale) and picked up a speaker foam surround kit from Springfield Speakers. They actually carry the foam surround for the Porsche blaupunkt speaker.
Cleaned up the speaker of the old foam, cleaned with alcohol, and first glued foams against the paper cone. After drying, cemented foam to speaker housing. Pretty easy and now I can replace the old aftermarket speaker and grill.
