Hello experts,
First of all, a disclaimer. I AM IGNORANT.

I do not know the 'right' or 'wrong' way to suggest a group buy, thus this thread.

Is it appropriate to first defer to the Big 4, and see if a discount for a group buy can be arranged?
Do members themselves generally try to 'broker' a group-buy deal directly with a supplier?

This is specifically in reference to items, like, the Truck-Lite replacement headlights for the 928. After perusing a couple of threads, there seemed to be a few owners (including myself) who had some degree of interest in these replacement headlights, but seem to find the high cost a real sticking point.

So, please offer insight, insult, or information as you folks see fit.

As much as I welcome the group buy, this may be a tough item to realize much gain with. Unless we can find a new distributor there is very little margin to cut. That said if one can be found big kudos
