Stroker getting close
Hi folks, I haven't posted in a while. My stroker project hit a wall with my eye surgeries & my inability to Sharktune the car & get it driveable. Luckily for me Colin Jensan was nice enough to fly in & make a housecall. I can't say enough about the help he has been & continues to be in getting it tuned. He sorted out my wiring woes converting to the S4 lighting. And got it to idle smoothly with the bigger cams. Colin for President! Anyhow it should be streetable soon. Here's some pics from today, removing the IAC motor (wasn't needed after he tuned it) & getting the hood centered around the shaker scoop. To be painted soon. Need to sort out the trans, it's shifting too low & too hard, wire in the front lights, paint the hood & scoop, install a few trim mouldings & the carpets & rear seats & I'll be driving it! Woo hoo!

John & Jim both had their fingers in this pie. Thanks for your help. I do hope to get to SITM someday. Hopefully it will be completed by spring. As anybody who has tackled a project like this surely knows there are hurdles & in my case surgeries and the ensuing financial restraints that keep slowing down the process. But hopefully the worst is over & my son & I are chipping away at cleaning up all the loose ends. I couldn't have done this without him, he's the body man perfectionist that transformed the outside of the car! GTS quarters & rockers, removing the side mldgs, converting the rear body panel to the S4 bumper, the paint job (Amazon Green), and on & on.
