Whooo Hooooo!!!
Those pics have to make you smile (the car, not you Andrew-though you're looking well ).
I like how you are keeping the legacy of Constantine's Coke racer, and Abby's Porsche of New Orleans window banner. Each owner having their input on this car's legacy. Your's might now be the most important since you are saving it & bringing it back to life again.

Andrew,
Great job bringing the Coca Cola car back to life! Really glad that you elected to keep the Coca Cola livery. Just seems right.
Thanks for sharing the journey with us.

One more update:
Yesterday, Dave K and I checked the timing belt and cam timing. The belt had been replaced about 1- year ago, but by whom was unclear. The belt tension was good, but the cam timing was a bit off. The passenger cam was off a few degrees and the driver cam was off a full tooth and a few degrees. We got that all sorted out.
Yesterday and today I worked on getting the seats and seat belts all sorted out. The PO had removed both seats and seat belts in preparation for parting the car. I knew he had loosely thrown them in. However, I thought I had both seat belts, but it turned out I only had one set. So I pulled the seat belts out of DR's Euro and installed them. Got the seats bolted in properly too. Doesn't sound like much, but it was a ton of work.
This morning, I bled the brakes and clutch. Then when I tried to fire it up, it wouldn't run. It was strange... Then after some delicious cheesesteaks... I remembered that we forgot to hook up one of the coil wires. VROOOM! At first, the car stumbled, but I'm pretty sure the plugs were fouled. As they cleared the car got better.
There's still a miss here and there. I'm going to replace the wires and maybe coils to see if that helps.
The goal today was to get the car tech'd for our first HPDE on May 9. We got it over to the shop (Munk's Motors) and except for a split ball joint boot, the car passed! Woo Hoo!
As a final touch, John F (the owner of CCF Auto Body who did the body work) helped install the new decals. The car now looks pretty much the same as it did pre-accident.

So yesterday when we were driving the Coke Car around, the car was missing on at least 1 or 2 cylinders. As I investigated today, we found both coils were corroded, coil wires were bad, and on distributor cap was bad too. We swapped that out and the miss went away, but it still didn't feel right.
When I revved it up, the car felt held back - Like there was a restrictor plate.
I'm not sure if I had mentioned it earlier, but the car had problems firing up last fall. We put new brains and it worked great. Last weekend DaveK9 swapped out the old (broken) brains with the newer good ones. When he pulled out the old ones, the EZF was rattling like a paint can. So today, I opened it up. The rattle was because it had PorKen's chips in it, but must have dislodged in the accident.
Now it made sense why the car felt held back. Too much fuel for stock chips!
I plugged Ken's chips back in, and fired it up and it SANG! Wow... that car will be fast!
Also today, I managed to bugger up the driver-side lower ball joint. I was just trying to replace the boot, but it had other things in mind. Oh well... No biggie.

looks great ... nice work
BUT, get rid of that Mobil 1 sticker and any hint of the killer oil in the oil pan! (if you plan on DE or racing it! Hope you are using redline, amsoil or something that can keeep from turning to water at high temps!
