Is there a reason or meaning for that?

There doesn't have to be, Marilyn is a good name, but I'm curious.
Any chance you'll be at C&C in DePere next weekend?

It's been a LONG day. We put the new car on the lift to do some inspections down at the local shop.

We plan on being at C&C with at least two or three cars. More if I can find another driver.

You can ask her then what the meaning is behind the name.

Wheels change everything......

I cannot wait to lower her and install the Carrera III wheels, but these have good rubber on them so they will do for the next few weeks before the snow files.

Concur, might as well open negotiations on quid-pro-quo for being so considerate, conscientious, and EARLY with the gifting...

Cool. I plan on being there too, and I will ask her.

And I have to say: I like the shiny manhole covers. The ones you have now are nice, but nothing screams "THIS IS A 928, unlike ANY other car out there" like a set of MHCs.

Very pretty car, amazing how some paints seem to bring out something new to the basic design.

It's an odd color for sure. In direct sunlight it's very silver but at dusk more of a purple hue.
