Front - 18X10 ET58 . Tire plan is 255/40/18.
-Rim is slightly too wide but should fit?

Bummer, the seller said it works on his race car but he said depends on ride height. I know the front is wide but seems it fits on this race car. This is the current tire on it:
Two (2) - 18X10 5-130 ET58 (265/35/18)
Two (2) - 18X11 5-130 ET63 (305/35/18)

I just had a set of old RH wheels 18x8 ET52 and 18x10 ET40 refinished today and I know this rear off set is too small correct? Tia.

2 things:
  1. you need a jackstand
  2. the wheel without a tire on the front looks bent at about the 5 o'clock position (when viewed from the face)

A couple of issues, on tire size. A 255/40*18 is an inch taller than the stock front tire and the 295/35*18 is an inch taller that the stock rear tire. so your car will have a speedo error of about MPH at 60, it will read slow. Additionally the car will be 1/2 an inch higher ride height. I would not recommend a 255 tire on a 10" rim it is to narrow for the rim. I run a 255 tire on a 9.5" rim and it is on the edge of fitment.

The lips were replaced with new lips during refinish. It was a quick swap so didn't need jack stand. Thanks.

Thanks for this detail: "I run a 255 tire on a 9.5" rim and it is on the edge of fitment". I'll double check on this before purchase.I know about the speedo err since factory speedo is about 5mph slower then GPS. Thanks.

11" rear wheels with 295 tyres are already quite tight on a GTS, even with a custom spacer. I think that you'd regret it if you try to make them fit. Sorry.

Thanks to all that chimed. I went to look to confirm the for the record for 88 S4.

Two (2) - 18X10 5-130 ET58 (265/35/18)- rim and tires stick out 1" beyond the fender.
Two (2) - 18X11 5-130 ET63 (305/35/18)- rim and tires requires 1" fender roll to fit.

So I am back figuring the rear offset on these RH 18x8 ET52 Front and 18x10 ET40 Rear to see how it will work. I know handling is an issue so gotta go back and reread since I don't remember. Thanks.

I found this chart that shows 18x8 et50 and 18x10 et42 is approved for 928 so my Rh with et52 front and et40 rear should be close to factory stock?

http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/inf..._chart/porsche

I've read lots wheels off set for 928 and most said the rear et40 is too low so I am confused, especially theses off set varies greatly according to rim sizes. I am planning to get rubbers for these Rh wheels if I can use it or I will sell them since they're refinished and should fit most other Porsches but I hate to look for something else if I can use these. Tia.

18x8 et50 and 18x10 et42 is not anywhere near to factory stock.

My $0.02.... they will fit though, but not be ideal. The rear you will need to run stretched rubber and roll your fender lip. Something around a 255 or maybe a 265 if you are lucky.

The front, again will fit, but depending on who you talk to, will more than likely cause you handling problems, and also be close to your outer fender lip.

I would hold out for more optimum offset wheels, or can you rebuild the RH's with different inner/outers to make them work? Probably cost you as much as new rims though!

OK, I'll put these RH on sale once they powder coated the face. Been spending time on CL and Ebay looking for the right wheels is so much time consuming to the point I may just keep the manhole. Thanks all.

Got a set of OEM lobster claw wheels with ET57 235/35/19 and ET67 305/30/19 tires. Those that have these wheels, what's the smallest spacer did you use to get clearance from control arm and fender without fender roll? TIA.

don't think a 10 will fit with that offset..... for a 10 to work up front , you need 8.5 of backspacing.
