Default Potential good deal on an '82 Euro...

http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?n...202317&alt=web

No affiliation, just browsing Ebay. '82 Euro had the updated door speakers though? Or was that something added by a previous owner? I thought they were still behind the perforated panels in '82...

not a bad color combo with the wheels. however, CIS sitting for 6 years is going to give you a fits...probably have $1k in either rebuilding or cleaning the entire fuel system from pump to WUR... definately salvageable...

Ahem megasquirt project ahem...

Lol my friend was seriously considering this (I may have been goading him into it) but the owner can't/won't risk starting it to get it on the truck, so it would cost twice as much to ship it on a single-vehicle carrier w/ winch. Deal-breaker, unfortunately. I thought maybe if they just drained and refilled it would be good enough to load it, but maybe I'm wrong. It looks like a nice car :-(

Looks to be in good cosmetic shape. Pod job looks worse than it is. Very tempting at current bid price.

Dunno about an '82, the seat switches & door cards look later, unless someone's updated the interior. Looks a good deal ATM.

Pretty sure there's a loose pod and dash, fully recovered, ready to go in.

It is surprising how many cars, having sat for five or six years, will fire up and drive onto a roll back. The last one I did, I didn't even refresh the gas. Just drove it 5 miles home and gave it to my son as a project. (Mitsubishi)

If it was a twin dizzy it would be pretty damn hard to resist. 5 days left, lots of time for the price to go up.

Is the suspension set up absurdly high (not talking normal settling, the rear is high too) or are those tires super low profile?

Or both?

Those are 18" wheels and low profile tires. Very low profile.

It may be CIS and single dizzy, but it does have the jump post cover.

Door cards and front seats are later model, not 82, and I see some variation of some other interior bits, like the glovebox.

It's my husband's 928 and it was sitting on wheel dollys in the garage so we could tuck it away easily and have more space. We had to jack it up to remove the dollys ergo why it's sitting higher than normal. It really does have a nice stance when it sits down
