New Product - Driving/Fog Light Lens 87 to 95 USA/Canada
2 Attachment(s)
Apart from used lens these are no longer available directly from Bosch and only available via Porsche at the list price of $482 each - not the whole assembly just the lens!!!!!
New to our product offerings are these lens - left & right - molded to the original new glass lens. Made using the very latest automotive materials these lens allow you to replace the lens portion while reusing the existing grey plastic frame. More for those who have broken lens which can be more easily extracted from the grey frame. Material is Urethane - UV resistant and the Shore hardness is very close to that of glass. I have 10 sets available and will also sell individual lens - either left or right. At last a viable alternative at less than 50% of the Stuttgart price dream. We will also be selling an alternative to the original "stoneguard" clear protective covers - made from the 3M extra thick material - further protect your investment - more later on this product offering. $200 each plus shipping. |

Roger the lenses appear to be on the wrong sides, always assuming this is a USA car. Seems it is because I can see the foglight bulb shields in the clear aux headlamp lens. In the clear lenses (outboard on a USA car) you should be able to see the whole unshielded aux headlamp H3 bulb.
These do look nice. Alan |
Alan,
Old sharp eyes - you are right - we just laid them on the frame for the picture. Will correct. Thanks, Roger |
Roger PM sent. I need a pair as my passenger side is cracked in 2 places
|
Roger,
Thanks. These look great. PM sent. Cheers Glenn |
Hi all,
Got a pair of Rogers' lenses for replacement. Any hints on how to remove originals without damaging housing or retaining clips? The original is glued in place. Should the new ones be siliconed back in? p.s. did a search and found nothing relevant. Cheers, Phendriks |
I took apart my headlights on an avalanche one time. Had to bake them in the oven to soften the glue. Then pried it apart. Although I'm not sure what adhesive is used on the fog lights your working with now.
