That's James car. It's rather nice. Have no idea on what it's worth.

Gotta love BAT these days. Nothing original, nothing needs a trailer, it's all just rehashed ebay or CL ads. pfft.

BAT Comment: If the price includes the color-matched placard, it would be well bought in parking-starved San Francisco.

James may find that humorous!

Like most collectible items that have unique and non-reproducible features (like no miles on them), this one will find a home with another who appreciates it as much as James does.

I feel my car is worth more than other folks think it's worth. That's why it's still my car.

I read that excellence issue. Lost it though.

Iirc it was purchased originally by an MD or Dentist who was interested in a few different makes
at the time but decided on the 928. I forget why he ordered an auto and why he stopped driving it but love that color.

I wish i still had that issue.

What a find.

I forwarded it to James. He had no idea it was on there! This is easily the nicest 928 I've ever seen in person.

Dentist. Seattle area.

Auto so wifey could drive too. His and her initials on the vanity plate.

Stopped driving because P-car dealer said they were going to adjust the valves at the 3500 mile service. He drove home thinking he'd get to it himself soon enough. That was the 80's.

Suddenly it was 2008 and he had never gotten around to it. So he sold it to me. I had it resurrected. Epic thread. Excellence article. I sold it to James.

The end.
