I bought a re conditioned pod from him a few months back. I did receive it and I would put the quality of the fix as a 4 out of 10. I think what he did is fill the cracks with body filler, sand it and paint it SEM vinyl paint. Not a bad job but not the quality that I had anticipated. Buyer beware of course. Now I have an extra black pod that most likely I will redo before I put it the silver car. The cost was $250. Funny thing, I asked him if he was coming to Sharktoberfest since he said in an email that his shop was in Santa Monica.
Too far away for him to drive on that Saturday he claimed. One would think that going to Sharktoberfest would be a must for him. I'm not slamming him, just odd in my opinion.

Here's what he sent me. I paid to ship it back which he didn't reimburse me for nor did he ship it or any of the other items to me, which included my sin visors for recovering and the last 928MS A-pillar 2-gauge holder that I had bought and shipped him.

What a douchebag. Never got any resolution to my issue and lost a few hundred dollars on that dash. Silver lining is I ended up with a nicer Rob Budd one for the long term ownership of my car, but can't believe how slimy this guy is and how he just kept my $ and never offered any type of resolution.

Good to have you looking out for the community.

It would be nice if anyone here who uses Facebook and YouTube post a link to this thread in the various comments section.

I purchased an early 944 dash from this guy unknowingly. Price was great, pics were great. He shipped timely. My dash is actually on his Facebook page

Quality was decent which is all I expected given the low cost. The work did fall however as the dash developed bubbles were it was stretched into place.

This guy is a real enigma, for just slightly more effort he could have a viable business. Knowing everything I know now from this thread and beyond,I would not give him my money

I also had this guy redo a burgundy pod for me in 2017, it took about 5 months but I did get it. The color wasn't even close to the burgundy in the car and the cracks he fixed reappeared in less than 2 months.

I just reported his YouTube channel with a link to this thread so they can see the whole story if they're so inclined. I'm not on Facebook so someone else will have to do the same over there.

Pete,

This has been going on for five years with no end? I know that there are some bureau and or former bureau agents on this board, you know at least one of them. I will not betray their confidence...

Perhaps Mr. William Jewett can get new PJ's. Fashion Orange or, classic stripes would be nice...

Dave,

Not really going on for 5 years. It happened back at the time of my original post, but after doing anything I could to try and get resolution both directly and indirectly (FBI report), I filed the report and pretty much moved on, so it's been outstanding for 5 years, but hasn't been going on for 5 years.

Yeah....that scum bag screwed me too. Did a crappy job on the headliner and some cheap spray on the pod. I asked him to fix the headliner and he said he would, it took months and threats to get my headliner back and he never touched it. I had people in my office figure out who his family members were and they started contacting them, started with Mommy....all of sudden, he responded back and said he was bringing my headliner back. I sent my Pod to Mark at 928 International and got back a beautiful hand leather pod. Stupid thing is, William doesn't even try to hide from what he is doing....very shocked that he hasn't had the sh#t kicked out of him
Here is the back of his car, at the time the registration was not current.

Very telling that on his one related post on this thread, he referred to that damage as "two minor scratches".

You guys are silly. Come on, you didn't see any red flags before you sent him money?
