Default May change rims, thoughts?

Picked up another set of 18" rims for the 84 DP, but am thinking of changing them to the 89 S4. Test fitted one side today. Suspension has not settled in the front yet.

I think I may like the current Carrera ones better. What do you guys think?

I prefer the 'old' ones on the S4 - any pictures of the new ones on the DP?

As they sit, I think the CIII's look better. However, I think the older style wheels are the wrong color for that car, and would benefit from a more muted metallic. Then, the more period correct wheels might be my pick. They do have a phone dial quality to them.

The CIII's are just made for our cars.

I posted this same thread on another 928 group and feedback has been stick with the C3's on the 89 so I switched them back.

The DP is currently with Sean Ratts getting some work done. Took two of them over and test fit them a while back. It's going to take some good sized spacers to make them fit correctly.

I plan to dig into it again further once I get the car back. Trying to find tires for the original 15" rims has been tough and I would really like to move to 18" anyways.

I have no photoshop skills. Here are two attempts I came up with.

I'm partial to the CIIIs (since I had put them on in the first place) and just picked up a set for my 91 GT. Seriously, the CIIIs look really good on an S4/GT , car look great also...really miss it!

Bob, I thought you might chime in at some point . We are really loving the car and get high compliments from everyone when we take it out. Can't thank you enough for the care you gave it during your ownership.

Your welcome to drive it again next time your back in the Dallas area. It's not the GT you moved on to, but it runs flawlessly.
