Default Need advice on CIS fuel injection

Hi guys,
So we started on our little project,

-1st good thing, the engine is cranking.

Then we took off the spark plug, and wanted to clean chamber from gas, check the plug at the same time and we wanted to dry up the chambers. so we cranked it a bit. While cranking when key on, i noticed that more gas seem to be comming from right side. I know i should had put key off for drying the chambers so no fuel goes in. But still, i checker and saw tha fuel was coming out of the chambers but only on the right side.

Me and my friend are mecano, but never worked on CIS sytem. Mostly on 15 years old car or diesel military trucks.
So here i ask you 2-3 things so i can do my homework properly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jFX...ature=youtu.be

1- Is that normal that alot of gas coming out like that?
2- Do you guys have good tutorial, or a good link for a website that would describe nicely the CIS sytem.
3- Any other advice that you may think.

I don't mind reading, but i love reading good source's info.

BTW, I have the 4.5L, M28/15 engine.

Truly thrill by this new ''old' car.

The Ben Watson book is brilliant, and here's what I think is the best video explaining the workings of the basic system, that I posted in another thread just recently.

Hi Fred,

Be patient with your CIS. It's a system that's worth R&R'ing. Please see fellow member jadz928's website, 928 ClassicS below. It is an excellent CIS reference guide and may help you out a lot:

Some good reading can be downloaded from here, also source of hard to find CIS parts.

http://www.ferrari400parts.com/

I have just completed the fuel dist head rebuild process and got my parts kit from here.

Clean like you mean it. Varnish and crud builds up in the fuel system on CIS and it's a real mess. The correct injectors are also avail on ebay. I bought new, would not ever recommend a 'refurbished' injector.

I did a flow test on the injectors.

I bought 8 medicine spoons. (The kind that look like test tubes.)

Pull out all 8 injectors and inserted each into a spoon

Energized the fuel pump

Pressed down on the air valve for a few seconds

And then measured the amount of gas in each

Mine all came out flowing the same amount of gas.

And be very careful and have a fire extinguisher close by.
