UPDATE
The casting shop has finally got the casts back from the machine shop (where they are tapped and drilled) and have sent them to the powder coaters.
I have taken a couple of days off work next week to drive up and collect them to try to avoid any more delays (they BETTER be ready!!!).
I hope to have them in my hands by Easter and off to Roger shortly thereafter.
I appreciate everyone's patience.

I will be shipping 9 units to 928'sRus tomorrow. These units have been checked against the pieces I have here and they fit the lock barrel, latch pin and cover I have in hand.
I had ordered a few more but they were not ready for pickup last week.
Hopefully this will be sufficient to remedy those inconvenienced by the previous ill-fitting batch.
Again - my apologies this happened and has taken so long to remedy.

Hi,
has anyone got the replacement units from Roger & fitted them yet?
Any feedback on whether the issues have been fixed? (I have a limited number of pieces to check fit against)
Thanks

Now my next challenge is adjusting the hatch release motor. Anyone know of a good write-up out there?
Much thanks!

My hatch release motor cycles, but regardless of where I position the bottom receiver - up or down, it either cycles then binds or cycles without releasing.
Any hints? Or am I relegated to using Alan's zip ties technique, as there is no way to adjust the latch to properly release without them?

Randy,
on my car there is a plug behind the hatch rear cover on the LHS, about half way along, that allows the hatch latch to be removed from the vehicle without disassembling the latch itself. I presume this allows the latch to be removed and then manually held in place (in the lower receiver) to test.
If the mechanism is not working then either adjustment or modification (zip ties / thin metal plate) may be required to restore proper function.
Sorry I can't help further.
